Jake was born in 1948 & educated at George Dixons Grammar School in Birmingham. Jake married Patricia in November 1969, with whom he has two daughters, Catherine & Grace, & was widowed in November 1995. 

 

Jake entered the industry in April 1978 with Avis & Hertz truck rental. This was followed by a short period with T.I.P. Trailer Rental & about 6 months selling specialist trucks for Mercedes-Benz (unimogs) prior to joining Keltruck. 

 

His hobbies include reading, films, occasional hacking around a field (golf!) & babysitting his granddaughter Scarlet!
