Keltruck’s Chairman, Chris Kelly, is urging visitors to keltruck.com to attend public consultation meetings in order to, he strongly suggests, oppose the introduction of congestion charging in the West Midlands.

Speaking to keltruck.com, Chris said: “I would like to see as many operators & businsses as possible attending these consultation meetings as it is their chance to have their say or, if they don’t, forever hold their peace! There has been little or nothing by way of publicity for these official ‘consultations’ hence I am taking this opportunity to spread the word to operators & business people in the region. Incredibly the Local Transport Plan website,
westmidlandsltp.gov.uk, makes no mention of these consultation meetings so I have e-mailed nearly one thousand operators & businesses alerting them to the meetings & urging them to attend.”
