New Adventure Travel has increased its fleet with the addition of two new Scania Touring coaches for 2017.

Kevyn Jones, Managing Director of Cardiff-based New Adventure Travel, is a long-standing Scania operator.  Having taken delivery of the first Scania 6×2 Touring to come into the country in 2015, New Adventure Travel has increased its fleet with the addition of two new Scania Touring’s for 2017.

The latest additions to the fleet  are on the 4×2 chassis, with Scania’s nine-litre 360 horsepower engine and eight-speed fully automated Opticruise gear selection system.  The body is 12.1-metres overall with 49 seats.  It has been constructed to 2017 specification, which includes USB’s to all seats, a Frenzel servery and leather driver and courier seats.

New Adventure Travel’s relationship with Keltruck, the local Scania dealer in Cardiff, will continue with the vehicles being supplied with a two year repair and maintenance package.

The looks, comfort and reliability of the current vehicle have been appreciated by both the staff and customers of New Adventure Travel over the past two years.

Andrew Bentley, Keltruck Limited, comments, “Keltruck will give vital support to New Adventure Travel from the Cardiff operation.”

As a relatively young company, our focus is on expansion and driving the business forward by delivering a positive customer experience. It is for that reason, plus the high levels of support provided by Keltruck Cardiff, that we once again opted for another Scania product.
