The Birmingham Post reports on Keltruck’s support for the Lord’s Taverners latest charity event

The National Motor Cycle Museum was the scene of one of the largest amounts of money ever raised at one event by the famous cricket charity, The Lord’s Taverners.

A total of pounds 140,000 was raised to help launch the charity’s special appeal for assistance to young disabled athletes.

Lord Coe, who spoke at the dinner, was one of the many famous faces to witness this ground-breaking event. Chief among the contributors to the funds raised was the Peter Harrison Foundation, which has become the lead sponsor of the appeal. John Ledlie, Director of the Foundation, presented a cheque for pounds 50,000. Other major sponsors included the Listers Group, Nurton Developments Ltd, Keltruck and Laney Headstock.
