A versatile charmer , our Scania Irizar InterCentury merges city-line robustness with tourist-class comfort. It’s available in lengths of 12 to 15 metres and can be powered by a 9- or 12-litre engine of 270 to 380 hp. You can also choose two- or three- axle configurations.
The Scania Irizar InterCentury is equipped with an 8-speed gearbox, with Scania Opticruise and retarder, or the new 5- or 6-speed automatic gearbox.

The 8-speed gearbox can be combined with Comfort Shift on the 270 to 380 hp engines or Scania Opticruise and retarder on the 380 hp engine. The result is smoother, faster shifting, less noise, lighter clutch pressure and better braking. A new fuel-saving 5- or 6-speed automatic gearbox is also available for the 270 to 340 hp engines.
