Another new Scania for New Adventure Travel Limited

Coinciding with the opening of purpose built new premises in the centre of Cardiff, New Adventure Travel has taken delivery of a new Scania OmniLink service bus.

The vehicle is based upon a Scania K 230 UB4x2 chassis with a nine-litre Euro 5 Scania engine and ZF fully automatic transmission.  The Scania OmniLink 12-metre semi-low floor body is equipped with 46 seats, including three tip-up seats.

This latest acquisition will be joined by a second Scania OmniLink in March along with three Scania OmniExpress 14.1-metre touring coaches. These deliveries will complete an order for a total of seven Scania coaches, the other two being Scania Irizar Century Club’s which entered service towards the end of 2012.

New Adventure Travel’s Managing Director Kevyn Jones comments, “It was an easy decision to purchase these vehicles as the Scania product has always worked well for us as they have proven reliability and are economical to operate.”

The vehicle will be maintained at Keltruck Cardiff.

As a relatively young company, our focus is on expansion and driving the business forward by delivering a positive customer experience. It is for that reason, plus the high levels of support provided by Keltruck Cardiff, that we once again opted for another Scania product.
