Keltruck has repainted the J. Hayward & Sons of Walsall Limited flagship 500S in heritage livery to celebrate the family firm’s history stretching back more than a century.

Sean Hayward, M.D., was delighted with the finish.

Here is our tribute truck, painted in our original colours. Haywards have worked closely with Keltruck to honour my dad, uncle, auntie, grandad and grandmother, without whose hard work and endeavour since 1919 we wouldn’t be flourishing and where we are right now.

Special thanks to Tony Biddlestone and the paintshop team at Keltruck.

Haywards have worked extremely hard to ensure we are in prime position to deal with all of the obstacles that the industry poses these days, with our staff and our drivers, past and present, being our ambassadors. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our employees for all their hard work – our founders would be proud of you all. We will continue to look after our own as we have always done over the many, many years.

SEAN HAYWARD

The detailed paintwork follows the recent completion of the restoration and repaint of a heritage Scania 142 V8 in Westmid livery to honour Keltruck’s founder, Chris Kelly, who operated vehicles as Westmid prior to founding Keltruck in 1983.
