Keltruck Ltd, Scania Dealer for the Midlands Region hosted a corporate karting event on the 20th May held at Teamworks Karting in Birmingham which was attended by Keltruck customers from both the East and West Midlands regions.
Andrew Bentley, General Manager – Marketing & Business Development commented “The venue was superb, well organised with a well-coordinated structure that brought the team spirit out in all those who attended, coupled with great food and services I’m sure our customers enjoyed their experience. We had a great turnout from a fabulous group of customers and I would personally like to thank our hosts”
On display in the centre of the track was a 2007 Scania 480bhp R480LA6X2MNA ‘Topline’ cab tractor unit complete with Climate Control, Central Locking, Fog and Spot lights which is currently one of a great selection of vehicles available for sale from Keltruck Used Sales.
The event kicked off with a safety briefing at 7.30pm followed by team selection and warm up laps. The main ‘Le Mans’ style event then commenced at 8.00pm and went on until just after 10.00pm with dinner in between. The challenge was to get the most laps in the time allotted all with dedicated team work.
