Mainline Coaches Limited of Gilfach Goch, South Wales has recently taken delivery of a further two Scania Irizar 12.2M PB Executive specification coaches.
These latest vehicles are both based upon Scania’s 13-litre K400 EB4x2 chassis with fully automated Scania Opticruise gear selection system. The coaches will be supported by Keltruck Limited, Cardiff, which will manage the two-year repair and maintenance programme included in the vehicles’ purchase price.
Mainline Coaches Limited Managing Director Chris Mainwaring reports the company purchased its first Scania Irizar PB back in 2004 on the basis that the design of the product would have bags of customer appeal which, he adds, applies just as much now as it did then.
