It has been reported to us at Keltruck that there has been yet another incident of commercial vehicle related crime. This time it was a break in to Hudson’s Storage & Direct Access, which both operate from the same site at Fountain Lane, Coseley, West Midlands WV14 8JQ.

One of the operations that takes place on Maurice Hudson’s site is the fitting of fire engine equipment onto bare Scania chassis. Having broken in, the thieves stole a variety of items. Four trucks were jacked up & had the wheels removed, 14 wheels & several ‘super single’ tyres were taken from the stores, laptop computers were taken from the offices & the premises have been very badly damaged with doors kicked in & items overturned. The following vehicle was stolen from Direct Access:

Registration: N258ANP
Appearance: White van with Direct Access sign writing
Date of theft: Between 19:00 on Monday 21st & 07:00 on Tuesday 22nd July.
