At Keltruck Limited we work hard to make sure that our people deliver the best customer service in the business. We run comprehensive training programmes, we carry out mystery shop visits and we inspire everyone in the Keltruck family to think of their customer first. If you’ve received exceptional service from one of our members of staff we’d like to congratulate them for you. So, make someone’s day if they’ve made yours and nominate your star performer below.
After having body builder issues with this truck following a jump start by a recovery company, I just wanted to say I could not wish for more support than we are getting from Jeanette at Keltruck Coventry. She has gone above & beyond to support us when it is not a Scania issue. Always good to pass on such positive feedback when someone goes the extra mile to make things happen.
David Bailey at Keltruck Cheltenham always goes the extra mile to help us keep our fleet on the road in the public transport sector. Many times in recent weeks has David gone above and beyond to give the best service and it certainly hasn’t gone unnoticed. This plays a vital role in allowing us to maintain a reliable service for our customers. Thank you, David.
Please may I take this opportunity to say how well Ashley Welch looked after ourselves whilst Keltruck Droitwich was without a permanent manager. To be honest I was unaware that the former Depot Manager had moved on as our coach inspections/services were done on time and all paperwork sent to us within a couple of days. We mainly dealt with Lisa Corbett to get the coaches booked in for inspections and she would call to let us know when the coach was ready for collection. It was only when I had called in at Droitwich and hadn’t seen the former manager that I asked where he was. I was told then that Ashley was temporary manager. Fortunately we do not have many problems with our Scania / Irizar i4 coaches but then on the 23rd December 2021 all that changed as we had a serious problem with YN18SDY, it was diagnosed that the engine ECU had malfunctioned and that we would need a new one. A major problem as the coach was now off the road – Ashley Welch kept me well informed on what was happening, as at the time there were no ECU’s available in the world. I was supplied with a demo coach from Scania whilst ours was off the road. Eventually an ECU was supplied, this was fitted on our coach and the coach went back on the road, unfortunately the engine malfunction warning came on again but this time it was an alternator, I was particularly impressed that although the computer diagnosed the faulty alternator, Ashley contacted Scania to get them to check, so that if an alternator was fitted, that it would fix the problem. They confirmed that the alternator was faulty and a new one fitted. YN18SDY is back on the road.
Ashley Welch treated myself and my staff very well and kept the standards we have all come to expect from Keltruck.
I would like to give 100% to all the staff at Keltruck Cross Hands. Nothing is ever too much to ask of them. My truck is always on time and Donna always keeps us informed of progress. Ben will always ring you and get the best prices on parts. It is also a very nice workshop to attend.
I would like to extend a big thank you to your Technician Mark Shilton on behalf of the Yardley Wood depot and NX Engineering.
On Wednesday 18th August Mark was here at the Yardley Wood depot investigating and repairing our Scania Omnilink reg: BX59NTK when the vehicle suddenly caught fire.
There have been a number of faults with the vehicle as it previously had an engine replaced by another company and the standard of work which Mark had to pick up on was quite horrific but his actions in quickly containing the incident is worthy of a special mention because what could have happened doesn’t bear thinking about, a vehicle on fire in a workshop and potentially more.
Over the years when I have personally called on yourselves for various call outs at the different depots I’ve worked in and Mark has attended, I can honestly say I do not recall a time when Mark has been unable to repair a vehicle and with this particular vehicle and incident far being the worse I’ve seen him tackle but yet still he has overcome it.
He is a credit to your company with his skill level and professionalism with a nothing is too much trouble attitude.
This depot and all their staff are a complete credit to Keltruck. They consistently go above and beyond to keep our fleet running and are always willing to go out of their way to help both myself and my drivers.
This nomination is not only for Damian’s attitude and assistance but for all the staff at your Wilnecote depot. Damian has been a real help to me and has always answered my calls and pointed me in the right direction when needed. Top bloke, top team!
I would like to thank Nigel Cox for putting in a late shift to get our vehicle repaired and back on the road ready to go for us earlier than scheduled.
We are not a company with a large fleet with vehicles to spare so any vehicle off the road for a while is a big issue for us so again thank you to Nigel for getting this done for us quicker than expected – it is much appreciated.
What an absolute credit Martin is to our brand and customers! He has gone to great effort in assisting me with the rectification of tacho faults for my customer ACS&T who base their trucks at Wolverhampton and are usually looked after by Keltruck Scania Willenhall. Attending promptly to the customer enquiry for assistance and keeping me in the loop at all times with feedback on both problems and solutions. A happy customer who has received a 5* service.
Martin’s passion for customer service and attention to detail and following the problem through to resolution is exactly what we need within Scania. A great effort by him and it’s my pleasure to write this review.
Thanks for the Job you did today Mark, that was above and beyond the call of duty. Let me know if there is anything I can ever do to help with anything we need to get done and I’ll do my utmost to make it happen.
Carl Joynes from Keltruck West Bromwich branch has been an absolute pleasure to do business with. His communication skills with me have been outstanding and upholding professionalism giving me the confidence of purchasing Scania parts and shipping them abroad to Australia. I highly recommend Keltruck for your Scania used parts no matter which corner of the world you reside.
A customer from Australia
Carl Joynes has been the best person to deal with. He always guides me whenever I purchase trucks and parts from Keltruck and I just bought two units from him this year. Very clean trucks in and excellent condition. I want to send him all the best and I am always very comfortable to do business with Keltruck and Carl.

I am very happy that Mr Carl Joynes was my first contact at Keltruck. From his first offer I understood that his way of sales is close to mine. His offers are like an open book without quality problems with the parts. Good prices, having in mind the difference between GBP / EURO, which is an important issue to have to deal with as an EU company. My plan for 2019 is to double my orders with him because as I read somewhere ‘a truth doesn’t cost anything, but a lie could cost you everything’. Wishing to continue in this excellent way of doing business.
George is always helpful & considerate. Nothing is ever too much trouble. The DHL paperwork is always completed and returned with the vehicles. George works with us to get the jobs completed ensuring our vehicle are on the road.
I was broken down with a gearbox fault and Louis asked me to wait for the work to be done and made me feel welcome. He also kept myself and my boss well informed of what was going on during my long wait in the depot. His updates and friendly attitude need to be recognised in my opinion.
I would like to nominate the workshop team at the Sutton branch of Keltruck for their hard work, determination and dedication (in general) but specifically through Friday 26th and Saturday 27th October. On Friday 26th there was an issue with the water supply to the branch which in turn lead to the workshop being flooded. As the branch struggled to keep the water out of the workshop and the pits more specifically, electricity was also lost due to 2 of the 3 phases taken out from the substation supplying the branch. As a result of this, the branch had no comms, lighting or heating at the busiest time for the branch on a Friday evening.
At the time of the snow just starting to fall, the employees of the branch continued to work around the issues and when the lighting was insufficient, continued to work outside on the vehicle, although bitterly cold. On the back of this the employees also utilised a local branch to complete some of the over spill, meaning a high amount of travelling time to and from. At the end of the weekend, all services were completed and ready for collection at the agreed time. When you talk about premium brand and premium after care, I’m not sure you would find this with a lot of our competitors. A huge thank you to the guys on shift at the time, all of them a credit to the Scania network.
Regional General Manager
Just want to say that Paul Jones is a credit to Keltruck. He hasn’t stopped all week. Nothing is too much trouble and he’s approachable and professional. Please send my thanks to Paul for his help this week.
