Keltruck Scania Sutton in Ashfield
I would like to nominate the workshop team at the Sutton branch of Keltruck for their hard work, determination and dedication (in general) but specifically through Friday 26th and Saturday 27th October. On Friday 26th there was an issue with the water supply to the branch which in turn lead to the workshop being flooded. As the branch struggled to keep the water out of the workshop and the pits more specifically, electricity was also lost due to 2 of the 3 phases taken out from the substation supplying the branch. As a result of this, the branch had no comms, lighting or heating at the busiest time for the branch on a Friday evening.
At the time of the snow just starting to fall, the employees of the branch continued to work around the issues and when the lighting was insufficient, continued to work outside on the vehicle, although bitterly cold. On the back of this the employees also utilised a local branch to complete some of the over spill, meaning a high amount of travelling time to and from. At the end of the weekend, all services were completed and ready for collection at the agreed time. When you talk about premium brand and premium after care, I’m not sure you would find this with a lot of our competitors. A huge thank you to the guys on shift at the time, all of them a credit to the Scania network.
