Fred Everiss of Cotteswold Dairy Limited in Tewkesbury kindly sent us this image of his classic vehicle.
He brought the Scania 111 in 2007, finished it in 2009 but is still doing jobs on the vehicle. It is a 1981 LHD Scania LB111 4×2 on rear air suspension, Dutch spec with engine heater. The vehicle is finished in Graham Gilder’s livery.
Fred told us that his 1995 143m 4×2 Topline Streamline is currently being restored – we are looking forward to seeing the finished vehicle!
The main shows that Fred attends are in conjunction with the group that goes by the name of ‘The Steel Boys’.
Keltruck have been supplying Madventure Travel with recycled Scania parts. Pictured here in the mountains of Tibet is their classic Scania 113. Madventure is a small UK based adventure tour operator utilising custom-built Scania trucks converted into coaches to carry up to 40 passengers. Madventure’s main routes are London to Sydney, Alaska to Brazil and Africa encompassed.
The company report that they are very pleased with the service they have received from Keltruck Scania Recycling.
“This was the first new artic we ever bought. We were flat out busy doing high paying air freight work at the time.
“Buying new Scanias was the single best decision we ever took.”
