Birmingham International Coaches Limited has taken delivery of a new Scania Interlink coach, the first Scania to enter service with the company.

Based on Scania’s K 410 EB4x2 chassis, the 12.8-metre overall length vehicle is equipped with a Scania Interlink Finesse HD Body with 53 full leather reclining seats with three-point seatbelts and USB charging points at each seat, a rear floor-mounted toilet, a wheelchair lifter with space for four wheelchairs, a DVD player and two monitors, drinks machine, extra dark tinted glass and Alcoa Dura-Bright alloy wheels.

Director Andrew Watkiss comments, “We spoke to Scania about the Interlink coach as we had noticed lots of these vehicles had been sold recently.  We felt the coach ticked many boxes that we needed, coupled with a competitive price.”

The repair & maintenance contract will be delivered by Scania dealer, Keltruck.
