A tribute to the late Brigadier Sir Louis Hargroves CBE DL, former Non-Executive Chairman of Keltruck Limited
It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Brigadier Sir Louis Hargroves CBE DL who died on 22 February aged 90.
Following a highly distinguished military career Sir Louis, affectionately known within his family as the ‘pocket rocket’, entered the private sector and also played a prominent role within the Conservative Party both in Government & opposition in the 1970s and then in Government once again under the then Margaret Thatcher from 1979 onward.
Sir Louis was widely admired by the staff at Keltruck during his time as Non-Executive Chairman – he will be remembered as a fun loving character who always had many a joke to share with everyone in the office and in the workshop.
