Keltruck Scania celebrates International Women’s Day 2026

To mark International Women’s Day 2026, Keltruck Scania is celebrating the women across its business who are helping shape the future of the industry. This year’s theme, #GiveToGain, highlights how sharing knowledge, supporting others and creating opportunities can benefit both individuals and organisations.

From senior leadership to apprentices just beginning their careers, women at Keltruck Scania are demonstrating how giving time, mentorship and encouragement can help others succeed.

For Rebecca Watson, Finance Director at Keltruck Scania, the company has provided a supportive environment throughout her career.
Rebecca shared:

“Keltruck has always been a place where I’ve felt respected and valued. It has only ever been a positive experience for me. Working my way up through the company, I’ve experienced nothing but respect at every level.”

Reflecting the #GiveToGain theme, Rebecca credits the guidance and inspiration she has received from colleagues as a key factor in her development.

“I’ve been fortunate to have strong women in my life who have truly shaped me. Over the years, I’ve worked with many incredibly talented people, but Tracey Joynes has stood out as a remarkable mentor to me for more than 20 years. Her guidance, support and expertise have allowed me to grow and learn from the very best.”

Becoming a Director and shareholder remains Rebecca’s proudest career achievement, particularly at Keltruck Scania, a business she has grown with over many years.

Keltruck Director Tracey Joynes has also witnessed the company’s culture of support and opportunity throughout her career. This is what Tracey had to share about her career in the industry:

“My experience in this industry has been very good and I have always felt welcomed and respected, which is a good feeling given that this industry has historically been male dominated.”

She believes Keltruck’s team culture plays an important role in creating opportunities for everyone.

“The infrastructure, support and all-round team or family feeling makes a real difference. There is no line or divide between male, female, gender or disability, everyone is treated the same and given the same opportunities to excel if they want to.”

Tracey also takes pride in helping others progress within the business.

“There have been many proud moments – becoming a Director and then a shareholder – but also bringing good, hardworking people through the business with me and seeing them succeed too.”

At the start of her career, Analise Holland, Aftersales Apprentice at Keltruck Cardiff, is already experiencing the benefits of that supportive culture.

“My experience working for Keltruck has been really positive,” she said. “The resources and systems that Scania have in place are brilliant, and Keltruck has an amazing support system for apprentices.”

Analise was recognised for her achievements after being named Scania Service Advisor Apprentice of the Year in 2025, an experience she describes as unforgettable. “It was a really eye-opening experience, and it was great to meet other apprentices who were part of the same journey,” she added.

Meanwhile, Sarah Martin, Service Advisor at Keltruck, highlights the importance of perseverance and building strong relationships in the industry.

“Working in a predominantly male industry can have its challenges,” she explained. “But proving your knowledge, building trust and developing relationships with customers can be both rewarding and empowering.”

Sarah believes Keltruck’s supportive culture helps women feel valued and confident in their roles. “Keltruck has an open-door policy where women feel valued and equal to their male colleagues. As a family company, it also understands that work-life balance and family commitments are important.”

As Keltruck celebrates International Women’s Day 2026, the stories of Rebecca, Tracey, Analise and Sarah reflect the spirit of #GiveToGain, where mentorship, encouragement and shared opportunities create a workplace where everyone can succeed.

By continuing to support and invest in its people, Keltruck remains committed to building an inclusive future for the next generation in the commercial vehicle industry.
