It’s International Women’s Day and here at Keltruck Scania we firmly believe women have a critical role to play in driving our industry forward. Representation matters and we lead by example and hope that Finance Director and shareholder Rebecca Watson and long-serving Director and shareholder Tracey Joynes will inspire other women to aim for leadership positions within our sector.
Rebecca joined Keltruck in January 2005 as a Purchase Ledger Clerk. She attended night school at Walsall college and qualified from an Accounts Apprenticeship and AAT qualifications (Association of Accounting Technicians). She went on to study in the centre of Birmingham for her CIMA Advanced Diploma in Management Accounts qualification and was promoted to Management Accountant in 2009.
Rebecca became Financial Controller reporting to Finance Director, Tracey Joynes, in 2019, overseeing all aspects of financial control and future system developments within the business. In October 2024 Rebecca was promoted to Finance Director.
Tracey joined Keltruck in January 2000 as a cashier. She was promoted to Management Accountant in September 2003, to Chief Accountant in March 2007 and to Finance Director in December 2008, handing the reins over to Rebecca in October last year.

As well as being a day to celebrate women, we recognise #IWD is also a call to action. The transport, distribution and logistics sector has historically been male dominated. We are proud of our culture of inclusion at Keltruck and committed to continuing efforts to ensure our sector is one in which women feel enthused and welcome to join.
Thank you to all the amazing women at Keltruck.
