Cost-effective solution to help maximise uptime

Keltruck, the largest independent Scania dealer in Europe, announces that it is now offering Scania’s new Vehicle Related Services (VRS) aftermarket programme to its customers throughout the UK, helping them to cost-effectively procure parts and maintenance services, and to maximise uptime for their vehicles.

VRS provides a comprehensive range of truck and trailer parts, lubricants, chemicals and workshop consumables, covering all makes. Developed by Scania, it complements the company’s existing aftermarket service.

To demonstrate its investment in VRS, Keltruck has bought three new delivery vans, which display VRS branding. The new vans are based at Keltruck’s branches in West Bromwich, Groby and Cardiff, and are used for inter-company transfer of parts between the company’s sites.

Steve Hughes, General Manager After Sales Operations at Keltruck, said: “The VRS programme supplements our comprehensive Scania parts catalogue with a range of additional components, enabling us to offer our customers maximum vehicle up time at a cost effective price.”

Hughes continued: “By covering both Scania and non-Scania equipment, VRS makes it easy for our customers to handle all their maintenance and parts procurement in one place – quickly and conveniently, and with the highest standards of service quality.”

Thousands of components are available through VRS, providing a simple way to purchase almost any spare part that might be needed. Keltruck offers the new service from all of its sites throughout the UK.
