Tom Prichard Contracting is a market leader for the provision of construction, recycling, environmental remediation, earthworks, demolition and support services to both the public and private sectors. Operating today throughout Wales, the Midlands, the South West and London boroughs, the company was founded in 1995 by Tom Prichard who had the desire to deliver excellent service: safely, reliably and cost effectively. Scania vehicles are a total fit for all of these aspirations which underpin the business to this day.

Prichard’s is one of Wales’ largest family-run, privately owned multi disciplinary businesses. They have been buying new Scanias from Keltruck since 2011 and Keltruck Sales Account Manager Peter Harris is proud to have been dealing with Prichard’s since 2015. As a family run business themselves, Keltruck are delighted to support the continued growth of Prichard’s with business critical Scania vehicles.

Keltruck take pride in nurturing strong partnerships with businesses like Prichard’s and have equipped them with a full fleet of Scania XT heavy duty construction and plant vehicles, including tippers, hookloaders, skiploaders and sweepers plus plant trucks, tractor units and a 150 tonne STGO CAT 3 heavy haulage vehicle for internal plant movements. The company also have crushers in their quarry with robust, reliable and fuel efficient Scania engines which, again, makes maintenance, diagnosis and parts availability more straightforward.

We are growing our fleet to 100 trucks so, along with regular replacements to keep them to our high standards, an order for 55 trucks was placed over a two-year period to make sure we can keep company growth up and down time to a minimum.

The impressive Llantrisant, Pontyclun based fleet is supported by Keltruck Scania Cardiff who provide around the clock support, headed up by branch manager Shaun Middlecote. The fully equipped depot offers valuable support for Scania truck, bus, coach, industrial and marine engines as well as supporting trailers and non-Scania vehicles.
