An update from John Biggin & the Keltruck management team.
Having just seen the accounts for March, I am delighted with the results from all areas of the business. All Depots have performed well with record levels of business. New & Used Sales and Contracts have all done extremely well.
Thanks for all your hard work!!

After getting off to a false start with the move planned at Christmas time ready for the New Year, Coventry staff eventually moved into the new premises. The office staff moved first leaving technicians at the old premises until 28th March. Computers & telephones were switched off as planned on Friday 16th March. Although problems were initially experienced with the new telephones, all calls were transferred to Tamworth. The team at Coventry pulled together and managed with Sean at the front line. On a personal note, I would like to thank all the staff at Coventry for pulling together and especially Sean for giving 110% when it was needed. The Coventry depot welcome Clifford Campion back as Parts Assistant.

The Droitwich extension is coming on well… The roof is on and the brickwork is going up, the pits will be made soon & when these are fitted, the floor slab can be laid so hopefully we are looking at a completion time in May. I would like to say thanks to everybody for all the hard work that has been put in over the last quarter and to the lads at Droitwich who have been very restricted to space while the extension has been going up. (Thanks for putting up with all the mess!) Well done & thank you to all.

Top of the League
YTD we have registered 172 chassis giving us 31% market share, against our closet rivals – Volvo, who have registered 80 with a 14% market share, and Leyland Daf who have registered 78 chassis and also have 14% market share. Great start, and I’m sure that we can keep it up. Thanks to all involved and for Aftersales support. Used Sales have also had another cracking month in March, selling 32 vehicles (93 YTD). Terrific performance. Well done!
